My first night in Orlando, I dined at Todd English’s bluezoo, located inside the Swan & Dolphin Resort at Walt Disney World.

Of course, I ordered a Bloody Mary.

Spice: The perfect amount.

Mix: Unsure

Chaser: None offered.

Fixin’s:  One olive, one lime.

Price: $13

This Bloody Mary was pretty standard overall; however, I detected a hint of seltzer or something to that effect. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. It was an unusual taste, but it grew on me.

As for dinner, when I saw this menu item, I had to order it:

Although hard to parcel out the “Bloody Mary Sauce, they tasted as good as they looked!

Finally, while this doesn’t really relate to Bloody Marys, I had to share this unique dessert drink:

Bluezoo has many unique drinks on their menu, but this one really stood out to me. It was $13 and wow, did it really taste like Bazooka! And, while this is rather unlike me, if you’re headed here and going to have just one drink—choose this one over the Bloody!

Last week, I traveled to Orlando for business. On board the Southwest flight, I was peer pressured by some coworkers into having a drink (I think their words were, “Would you like a Bloody Mary?”—see, they really twisted my arm.)

Anyway, here’s what I got:

Spice: Not much I could do here.

Mix: Mr. and Mrs. T’s with Finlandia Vodka

Chaser: None offered.

Fixin’s:  None

Price: $5

Overall, not bad for an airplane. Much better than the bloody on my flight to Australia!
