I was recently in Los Angeles for a very quick trip; however, I was able to sneak in an amazing bloody mary at Franklin & Company.
This tavern has appeared on numerous lists for their multiple Bloody Mary options. It also came recommended by the Drunken Tomato. So I knew it would be good, but it exceeded my expectations.
There are seven Bloody Marys on their brunch menu, but of course, I had to order the Bloody Royale!
Mix: Homemade; and the glass was rimmed with…get this… bacon salt
Chaser: Add one for $2
Fixin’s: Celery, onion ring, bacon-wrapped jalapeno, olive, brussels sprout, pickle, English slider, pepperjack cheese
Price: $15
This was definitely worth carving out time for; I highly suggest you stop in to Franklin & Co. if you’re in the area. It’s a short walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame (where I was coming from when I paid them a visit).
I also enjoyed their tuna burger with homemade chips–and their black cherry ketchup. Simply amazing. I’m in love.
