This past weekend, was finishing up some holiday shopping at Bayshore Mall and decided to pop in to the new Sprecher Restaurant and Pub for lunch.
To my surprise (and delight), I realized their drink menu also featured a special Bloody Mary: The Bloody Boot.
Spice: Very spicy, taste-wise and the amount of pepper/spices floating in the drink itself.
Mix: Unknown
Chaser: No (VERY surprising considering Sprecher is a brewery afterall)
Fixin’s: Lemon, Lemon, Celery, Olive, Pickle Slice, Cheese Curd
Price: $8 for the 28-oz boot (which you get to keep, well, to boot!) which entitles you to $5 refills, or $5 for pints.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Sprecher had a specialty Bloody Mary. I also very much liked the look and feel of the place and the menu is very “Sconnie” yet broad, so there is sure to be something for everyone. I highly recommend you check it out next time you’re over in the Bayshore area!
